The Virtual Victorian School

Digitalsavvy recently worked with a group of partners, led by Telford & Wrekin LEA and the University of Wolverhampton, in order to create a virtual tour of a Victorian School. This rich resource will be used to support the teaching of KS1 History across Telford & Wrekin.

The virtual Victorian School is based on an actual school that is now at the Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the largest open air museums in the UK.

The University of Wolverhampton were responsible for creating the virtual reality environment, based on the original Victorian building, and Digitalsavvy shot the video and audio clips that integrate into the virtual tour.

The Victorian Victorian School can be accessed by anyone with a good broadband connection.
