Welcome
to Digitalsavvy…
Digitalsavvy
aims to support teachers and learners in developing creative e-learning
resources that engage students of
all
abilities. By bringing information and
communication technologies (ICT) into the traditional learning process,
there
is enormous potential for enhancing all subjects as well as embracing
a variety of learning styles.
What we do for primary and secondary schools
- Provide
digital resources and video clips for Interactive Whiteboards,
powerful pupil presentations and mini-documentaries.
See our Primary
Geography project on Llandudno -
available to purchase using your eLearrning
Credits (eLCs). See also the Virtual
High Wycombe Project, and the Abiku
Project. See one of our virtual
photographic panoramas...
- CPD training
in all aspects of digital media for teachers; digital video camerawork
- on fieldtrips and in the classroom, digital video editing, digital
audio production, writing and designing for the web. We can run a bespoke
course in your school, if you wish. 'Thanks
for your first rate training session - Everyone is still talking about
it'. MS.
We will be running some workshops on the
use of video in the classroom at the Science
Learning Centre London, which is part of the Institute of Education,
in Spring 2007.
- Resource
and support the implementation of collaborative
digital projects. See
the Virtual Victorian School (History
KS1), Virtual High Wycombe,
or the work we did for Project
Norfolk (Science KS4). See our latest work on multi
camera shooting,
and read the TES
article about it...
We also have
experience in distance and open learning
- We
can help to design and create digital resources for Secondary or
Higher Education use, so
if you are considering the use of digital audio or video, virtual
reality or online collaborative tools within an open or a distance
learning course, and would like to know how we could enhance your
course, then please contact
us...
